TAMARA GOLICNIK started her musical career at the School of Music in Zalec under Joze Skorjanc. She continued her musical education in Maribor under prof. Janko Setinc and further at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, where she graduated in concert and educational music. In the course of her studies she pursued various courses at home and abroad (Mark Kroll, Boston; Roland Batik, Vienna; Rudolf Buchbinder, Zürich), lectures (Alfred Brendel – Edinburgh) and gave performances as a soloist and chamber musician. After graduation she became a freelance artist, working in the field of culture and taking part in national and international competitions. She is currently pursuing her education with prof. Vladimir Mlinaric and prof. Jasminka Stancul in Vienna.
