Alekstandra Tehovnic & Co come to Festival Lent with their project "Pesmi iz Slovenija" (Songs from Slovenia). With the help of this project they want to show that songs taken from the Slovene music treasure box surely can come through to younger audience, given, however, they are presented in the right way.

Slovene folk and ethno music is most commonly being neglected by younger music lovers, so you won’t really hear much of it in clubs or bars, as it is considered to be dull, over-lived and uncool. But all those thinking in this way are to be proved wrong by Aleksandra Tehovnik and her crew. This concert will doubtlessly show that even though their concept is simple Slovene traditional songs can in fact produce rich sounds.
