It does not happen very often that a Slovene rock or jazz musician releases a solo project. Still the recently released album Traveling by Traja Brizani, bass player, composer, arranger, teacher and leader of the group Amadeus has released such an album. Despite being an active musician in Slovenia for almost two decades now and appreciated among other musicians, Brizani is not really known to broad masses. Still his sense for composition and especially virtuosic playing is placing him among the best Slovene musicians.

On the excellent soft funk album “Traveling” Brizani joined his musical skills, his sense for interpretations and his sympathies towards pop-jazz, Latino jazz, funk and fusion. Each of these music styles is tastefully mixed in a colourful musical entity.
