A chamber ensemble made up of flute, violin, viola and violoncello, named KVARTET LENTO has been performing since the millennium. The members of the ensemble came up with the name, because of their regular performances at Festival Lent and the extremely close bond with their home town Maribor. All musicians are members of the opera orchestra at the Slovene National Theatre Maribor and Symphonic orchestra Maribor. This years performance also features a special guest Darko Kovacic on double bass.


SASA OLENJUK studied at the conservatory "F. I. Cajkovski” in Kiev, where he graduated in the class of prof. Stern. He performs worldwide as leader and first soloist of the Slovene Philharmonic Orchestra. He is best known in Slovenia as an execellent performer of ethnic and other music styles.


ROSTYSLAV DENYSYUK was born in Brest (White Russia) and completed his studies in Ukraine. After his graduation he became a member of the orchestra of the State Opera Taras Shevchenko and the State symphonic orchestra of Ukraine. At the same time he taught at the State Academy of Music. Since 1998 he is a member of the orchestra of Maribor and orchestra of the Philharmonics Maribor.


MATEJA KREMLJAK (flute) was born in Slovenj Gradec. She completed her Masters degree at the Academy of Music and Fine Arts in Graz under prof. Nils-Thil Kramer and pursued her postgraduate course in Italy (Accademia pianistica di Imola) under prof. Glauc Cambursan and prof. Massim Mercelli. She is a member of various ensembles: quartet FLAVTA BREZ MEJA, duet ERATO, trio DIO, flamenco group CANO FLAMENCO and a member of THE FOOL COOL JAZZ ORKESTER.


GORAZD STRLIC is the first violoncellist of the orchestra Opera and Ballet Maribor. He plays violoncello since the age of seven and he finished his music education under prof. Vladimir Kovacic in Maribor. He was awarded many prizes at home and abroad. He has been working collaboratively at various festivals, but has also performed as a soloist with many different symphonic orchestras. He graduated with honours in 2004.


DARKO KOVACIC graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under prof. A. Bolet. He is the first double bass player at the orchestra of Opera in Maribor and was also the first double bass player at the orchestra of Philharmonics of Maribor.
