MADERA LIMPIA is a group of young musicians, known from the award-winning film PARAISO directed by Alina Teodorescu. Using a couple of plastic bottle, a few peaces of driftwood and anything else they can found lying on the street they break every European Buena-Vista-Social-Club-cliché. The Cuba they represent and portrait is completely different, but above all young and genuine.

The music of Madera Limpia talks about darker moments in life, about life without bars and clubs, where boredom is fought with dance, music, rum and sex. What comes out is a dynamic, vibrating, powerful, hot and explosive mix of the pulsating changüi with rap, hip-hop and reggae beats.
