NEVENKA LEBAN ORESIC was born in Maribor, where she studied piano under dr. Roman Klasinc and prof. Zdenka Novak. She graduated at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under prof. Pavel Sivic and was simultaneously a student of musicology at the Faculty of Arts. After being an editor for chamber music for a number of years, she dedicated herself to piano pedagogy and concentration. She completed her postgraduate study at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, Croatia, under prof. V. Krpan and prof. J. Zlatar. Occasionally, she makes recordings for Radio Slovenija and also serves as a music critic. She is gracing concert stages throughout Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and Belgium, but is also actively taking part in EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association).


KAREL ZUZEK was born in 1943 in Ljubljana and completed his violin education in Maribor under prof. I. Pal. He pursued his studies in Ljubljana at the Academy of Music under prof. L. Pfeifer. He has been a member of the Symphonic orchestra RTV Slovenija since 1964, where he has been working as a concert-master for the last 25 years. Chamber music played the most important role in his artistic life and exceeded his ambitions of being a soloist performer. Slovenski godalni kvartet, Klavirski kvartet RTV Ljubljana, ensemble Slavko Osterc, Musica Antiqua Slovenica. In 1997 he was awarded the Bettet prize. So far, he has performed over 500 concerts throughout Slovenia, former Yugoslavia, Italy, former Soviet Union, Germany, Iraq and Austria.


FRANC AVSENEK was born in 1946 in Ljubljana and gained his music education in Beograd and Ljubljana. He became a member of Symphonic Orchestra of RTV Slovenija in 1967 and its violinist – soloist 15 years later. He is currently a member of a quartet named Ljubljanski godalni kvartet, which has been awarded Bettet prize in 1997. He is also a founder of a chamber orchestra Camerata Labacensis. So far, he has recorded quite a few records and has also been performing as a soloist. At the moment, he is teaching viola and chamber music at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana.


STANISLAV DEMSAR was born in 1944 in Ljubljana, where he also went to school. He graduated at the Academy of Music under prof. Bajde and completed his postgraduate studies under prof. Skerjanc. He has been a member of the Symphonic orchestra RTV Slovenija for 30 years and a soloist cellist since 1980. He is currently a member of a quartet named Ljubljanski godalni kvartet, which has been awarded Bettet prize in 1997. He is also a member of a chamber orchestra Camerata Labacensis, which gives performances with world famous composers and conductors, such as Carl Davus or Gaspar de Roo.
