Exhilarating, explosive, exciting and energizing are only a few of the words that begin to describe the feeling you get when you watch this extraordinary ensemble on stage.

The performance is a blend of rhythm, music, movement and wit, interwoven with choreographed body drumming, live vocals, amusing sounds and theatrical antics.

The creative ensemble of performing artists produces extraordinary sounds from ordinary objects, industrial tools, suspended drums, percussion and of course the most basic instrument of all, their bodies.

TARARAM more than lives up to it’s name, which in Hebrew means hubbub or commotion as it assaults your senses and awakens your natural impulses to tap your feet, clap your hands and basically beat on anything and everything you find on your way out of the theatre.

Since Tararam’s premiere performance at the 1997 Israel Festival of Stage Arts, the ensemble has pursued an intensive touring schedule. Television appearances have become routine, and those high profile shows, along with a series of excellent reviews, have led to performances at major international cultural events around the world.
