NEW YORK CONNECTION is a Slovene-American version of the jazz quintet that was formed in New York by Walt Szymanski and Alex Harding. The quintet regularly performs in New York at Swing 46, a jazz club on 46th Street between the 8th and 9th Avenue. Its repertoire largely consists of Szymanski’s and Harding’s own hard bop compositions and arrangements.

By deciding on doing this project the New York Connection members have promised to try to achieve the same music quality and performance level as produced by the original quintet.
