STRING ORCHESTRA OF THE BELGRADE PHILHARMONICS

Bajaga is one of the biggest music stars of the ex-Yugoslav rock’n’roll scene. At the age of 14 he became the lead singer of a group called TNT, but he really became famous when he joined Riblja corba in 1987. Even though at first he was assigned the role of a guitarist, he soon proved to be an excellent composer and song writer. After recording 5 albums with this band, he decided it was time to go solo. His solo carrier officially started in 1984, when he split up with Riblja corba. One year after that he already released his second album with his back-up band Instruktori (the first one was recorded while he was officially still with Riblja corba). In 1994 the group split, but after they had met recently they decided to reunite and one again make the streets unsafe. At the moment Bajaga and Instruktori are touring with the String Orchestra of the Belgrade Philharmonics, fortunately they will be stopping at Main Stage at the Drava River.
