Cabaret performance Patetico 2 is a follow-up to the original and extremely famous project Patetico, which Festival Lent hosted a years before. The concept remains unchanged, the performance still blends acoustic music and the spoken word in a unique way. Music by world famous musicians, such as Bob Marley, Tom Waits and Van Morrisson, still plays a crucial role, just like band’s own Slovene lyrics do.

This time Patetico’s musicians and their charismatic lead singer Nika want to remind us, that life is not meant for us, but for love. Unfortunately we tend to forget that. In the mean time we are left with beautiful music. By listening to it, we become part of someone, somewhere – even if it’s just for a glimpse of a moment – who is lucky enough to love and be loved.
