Women's choir was founded by Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor 18 years ago and gave its first performance on Women’s day in 1988. The choir was conducted by Alenka Korpar. During the first few years only female bank members sang in the choir, but it wasn’t long before other singers joined in. Today, the choir comprises 27 singers and has been under the baton of Irena Jost for nine years now. Their song list features some 60 songs, from covers of folk songs (Slovene and foreign) to pieces by famous composers (Mozart, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Offenbach), but the choir is very keen to bring the work of renowned, new Slovene composers to people's attention as well (Jez, Copi, Mocnik, Rojko). The choir is very active and takes part in numerous competitions and regularly collaborates with various choral and charity societies locally and further a-field.
The Male voice choir was founded by Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor in 1994 and is one of today’s best male voice choirs in this region. It was mainly made up of local bank unit members from Maribor, but also of those from Ptuj and Ormoz. In 1997, the majority of Male voice choir from Limbus joined in, expended the choir’s size and strengthened the ensemble of singers, what contributed greatly to the better quality of their performance. The choir gives concerts throughout the country and also takes part in various projects and activities. Since its foundation, the choir is still under the baton of Miran Antauer.
